Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze unveiled a new kindergarten in the village of Iormughanlo, Sagarejo Municipality. The kindergarten, large enough to accommodate 180-240 children, was built with SOCAR financing.
According to the government’s press office, the preschool educational institution incorporates 6 rooms for various age groups and covers about 3,000 m2. Besides classrooms, the kindergarten’s infrastructure includes a cafeteria, a kitchen, a sports activity hall, also doctor’s, play, and sleeping rooms, alongside administrative and technical spaces. The building is equipped with wheelchair ramps and adapted sanitary areas, also an open-air playground.
Along with the Head of Government, the site was visited by representatives of Georgia’s executive, legislative, and local authorities, Finance Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov, Vice Speaker of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Akhmedov, SOCAR Vice President Ziba Mustafayeva, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev, General Director at SOCAR Energy Georgia Mahir Mammedov, and other officials.
