Georgian Prime Minister met Jay Collins, Vice Chairman of Citigroup within the scope of his visit to Davos today.

The Head of Government reviewed the specific directions of cooperation towards banking and financial intermediation with the Vice Chairman of Citigroup.

The current investment potential of Georgia and specific steps made by the Government of Georgia for the transformation of the country into a financial hub of the region were discussed at the meeting.

Topics of discussion also included the launch of a global business service center in Georgia.

Citigroup is the largest American financial institution branching out in 19 countries of the world, including the USA, Mexico, UK, India, Hungary, Poland and Ireland. The company employs 210 000 people and generates over 71 BLN USD according to data released in 2021.
