Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia met with the Bulgarian Ambassador Dessislava Ivanova on Wednesday.
PM thanked the Bulgarian government for providing humanitarian assistance throughout the pandemic, PM’s press service reported.
“COVID-19 vaccination plan, the importance of Black Sea security and economic cooperation as one of the key directions between the two countries were in focus. The parties pointed out that amid pandemic joint effort must continue to deepen the positive dynamic in trade and economic cooperation, trade and communications ties, and projects of regional importance,” the government press center noted.
The Georgian government appreciates Bulgaria’s support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty and the country’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration, the press statement reads.
