Georgian, Kazakhstani Cinema Centers sign Memorandum of Cooperation

Deputy Georgian Minister of Culture and Sports, acting director of National Cinema Center, Koba Khubunaia and Chairman of the Board at the Kazakhstani National Cinema Support Center, Qurmanbek Jumagali signed a memorandum of Cooperation for the development of the cinema industry at the Georgian Pavilion of Cannes Cinema Fair.

The memorandum will allow Georgian producers to participate in co-production competitions of Kazakhstani cinema funds. The Kazakh film directors and producers will have the opportunity to find Georgian partners.

Contests to promote Georgia-Kazakhstan products will be held. The agreement will also promote education programs, experience exchange, distribution of products and different activities.
