Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, met with his Hungarian counterpart, Sándor Pintér, during his official visit to Hungary.
Shalva Bedoidze, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, and Tamar Liluashvili, ambassador of Georgia to Hungary, attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on bilateral law enforcement cooperation between the two countries. The sides emphasized the importance of bilateral agreements in law enforcement cooperation between Georgia and Hungary. They also explored possibilities for future collaboration and expressed their willingness to share experiences and best practices between agencies.
Minister Gomelauri provided detailed information regarding the ongoing and implemented reforms at the Ministry.
