Georgian government to award armwrestlers

The Georgian government will award armwreslers and para-armwreslers, the Government Administration reported.

According to the Government Administration, 17,000 GEL will be awarded to the 1st place winners of the national team in the World Championship in armwrestling and para-armwrestling, 8,500 GEL to the 2nd place winners, and 5,100 GEL to the 3rd place winners.

As for the youth armwrestling and para-armwrestling teams, the 1st place winners will receive 5,100 GEL, the 2nd place winners – 3,400 GEL, and the 3rd place winners – 1,700 GEL.

Monetary prizes are set for couches and medical personnel. The total value of the prizes is GEL 1,921,850.
