Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Monday met with French colleague Catherine Colonna on the sidelines of the UN Climate Change Conference in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
In his tweet, FM Darchiashvili said the meeting covered “all major aspects of Georgia-France bilateral cooperation, focusing on importance of Amilakhvari Strategic Dialogue and Georgia’s engagement in President Macron’s EPC initiative.”
“Much appreciate France’s support for our country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Georgian FM said.
According to the Georgian MFA, the duo also reviewed regional developments. FM Darchiashvili informed French colleague on the current situation in the occupied territories of Georgia. He also thanked his counterpart for France’s unwavering support to Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
