Georgian FM meets British colleague

Georgia’s Foreign Minister, Ilia Darchiashvili, met with the new Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Affairs, David Lammy as part of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s visit to the United Kingdom.

The Ministers underlined a willingness to strengthen the tight collaboration, especially through the UK-Georgia Wardrop Strategic Dialogue.

Ilia Darchiashvili commended his British counterpart for his support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the country’s European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

During the meeting, the conversation touched on global developments, stressing the need for peace and stability.
