Georgian FM: Cancelling Joe Biden's invitation undermines bilateral relations
Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili criticized the decision to cancel Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s invitation to a reception with U.S. President Joe Biden, calling it incomprehensible and detrimental to bilateral relations.
“It was an inexplicable decision that does not benefit our partnership. We have always expressed and will continue to express our commitment to closely collaborate with our strategic partners and address existing issues, even those on which we have differing views. Open and honest dialogue is essential for deepening and strengthening our relationship,” Darchiashvili stated.
