Today, Georgian Dream will officially announce about supporting Salome Zurabishvili’s candidacy in the 2018 presidential elections.
According to the First Channel, leadership of the ruling team has already decided that the party will not have its candidate in the election and will support independent candidate Salome Zurabishvili.
According to information, Zurabishvili has been already informed about this decision and she plans to make a statement at 17:00 today.
The meeting between the majority, government officials and political board of the Georgian Dream is scheduled for 16:00 in the central office today.
The 2018 presidential elections will be held on October 28 in Georgia.
