Georgian delegation to partake in 145th IPU Assembly

Georgian parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker Shalva Papuashvili will attend the 145th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly hosted by the capital of Rwanda, Kigali, on October 11-16.

Shalva Papuashvili will address the Assembly session and undertake bilateral discussions with his colleagues as part of his visit.

The talks will mainly focus on the policy of non-recognition of the occupied territories of Georgia.

The 145th Assembly will address global security concerns and solutions. Over 1,200 delegates from 120 countries, including 60 parliament heads, will attend the event.
