Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani met Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his visit to Armenia.
According to the Defense Ministry, the sides spoke about friendly and good neighbourly relations between Georgia and Armenia and highlighted Georgia’s role in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
At the meeting, Irakli Chikovani and Nikol Pashinyan focused on Georgia-Armenia cooperation in different spheres and the significance of the declaration signed on a strategic partnership that “contributes to deepening cooperation in various spheres.”
Georgian Defense Minister earlier met his Armenian colleague Suren Papikyan. A plan for bilateral cooperation for 2024 was signed at the meeting.
