Georgian Defense Minister hosts NATO Special Representative

Juansher Burchuladze, Georgian Defense Minister, hosted Javier Colomina, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia.

The Minister thanked the guest for the support of Georgia’s territorial integrity, sovereignty and NATO integration aspirations.

According to the Defense Ministry, the sides exchanged viewpoints against the backdrop of the current security challenges in the region.

The Defense Minister familiarized Javier Colomina with the reforms and underscored the importance of the successful implementation of the NATO-Georgia Substantial Package (SNGP).

The NATO Special Representative reconfirmed unwavering support for Georgia’s NATO integration aspirations.
