Georgian Defence Minister hosts Azerbaijani Ambassador

Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Chikovani met with the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia, Faig Guliyev to discuss “the importance of strategic partnership and good neighbourly ties.”

According to the Ministry’s press office, “Defence Minister reaffirmed Georgia’s readiness to contribute to the process of establishing peace and stability in the South Caucasus. The positive dynamics of high-level visits were also highlighted.”

The duo talked about the potential for future bilateral defence cooperation. The emphasis was on joint participation in international training and military education collaboration.
