Georgian Basketball Team kicks off qualification stage for Olympiad

The Georgian basketball team is in Riga, Latvia, where it will hold qualification tournaments for the Olympiad on July 2-7.

Six teams will compete for one ticket for the Olympics: Latvia, Georgia, Philippines, Brazil, Montenegro, and Cameroon.

Georgia will face Latvia tonight. The match will kick off at 8 p.m. The GPB’s First Channel Sport and Georgian Radio will live-transmit the match.

Georgia will play against the Philippines on July 4.
