President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation, the presidential administration reported.
Georgian President expressed concern over developments at the Russian-Ukrainian border and in the Crimea and solidarity with Ukraine.
“Salome Zurabishvili stressed the need for Ukraine to resist provocations. President emphasized the necessity to move in the only direction of the common security that is the Euro-Atlantic integration path.
The Presidents of both countries stressed the importance of security on the Black Sea and the need to present joint goals of Georgia and Ukraine at the NATO-EU summit,” the statement by the presidential administration reads.
