Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine holding consultations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
An Ambassador of Georgia to Ukraine Teimuraz Sharashenidze is holding consultations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
As the Ambassador briefed journalists, the discussion will tackle all the issues of cooperation between the two partner countries – Georgia and Ukraine.
“All issues will be discussed scrupulously. I do not share the criticism. The embassy did its best.
I had communication with the Ukrainian government and handed over a note of protest. As a form of protest, Georgian Ambassador was recalled from Ukraine.
Ukraine, our strategic partner was not surprised by our form of protest,” Sharashenidze said.
Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine Teimuraz Sharashenidze was recalled from Kyiv to Tbilisi for consultations after Zelenskyy’s decision to appoint former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili as the head of the Executive Reform Committee of Ukraine.
