The match Georgia vs. Ireland took place at Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi. Georgian First Channel provided live transmission of the match. The two teams have met 11 times in the past and Georgia failed to win a single match.
Georgian football players held training at the Tbilisi Sea base of Zestaphoni FC. The 23 football players participated in the training.
“Taking the results of the previous matches, Ireland is an unpleasant rival for us. But I think we can violate the balance and gain 3 points. Our team was well organized in a match with Denmark and I hope this time it will be so,” Otar Kiteishvili, a member of the Georgian football team said ahead of the match.
