Health Ministers of Georgia and Turkiye, Zurab Azarashvili and Fahrettin Koca, signed the memorandum of cooperation in the health care and medical sciences fields.
Under this agreement, Georgia and Turkiye will actively collaborate in primary health care, family medicine development and communicable and non-communicable disease prevention. The document also outlines joint efforts to enhance the diagnosis and management of global health threats.
Additionally, the agreement foresees cooperation in the hospital management systems development. The memorandum also establishes strategic cooperation in the medical industry.
Two Ministers signed the document at the World Medical Congress in Turkiye.
