Georgia will serve as the host country for the ITB 2023 tourist exhibition in Germany.
Borderless Hospitality is the country’s main concept during the expo. Georgia will open the exhibition with a grand gala concert featuring world-famous Georgian celebrities. Thousands of tourists will get to know Georgian folklore, electronic musical compositions, ethnic jazz, opera and national ballet, dances and songs incorporating traditional and contemporary components.
“The fact that Georgia is hosting ITB Berlin is paramount. The World Tourism Expo will include the largest companies. Georgia is a host nation by nature. Our incredible culture, Georgian folk, and classics will be showcased during the event,” Davit Evgenidze said.
In 2019, one of the world’s greatest tourist events drew over 160,000 people from 181 nations. The exhibition was covered by around 5,000 representatives from the international media.
The opening show of ITB Berlin will be unveiled on Monday, with the fair set to run between March 7-19 in the German capital.
