Georgia to host Azerbaijan-Turkey-Georgia defence ministerial

The Georgian Minister of Defense, Irakli Chikovani, met with the Secretary of the Security Council of Azerbaijan, Ramil Usubov. The discussions emphasized the significance of strategic cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Minister Chikovani expressed Georgia’s readiness to contribute to the establishment of peace and stability in the South Caucasus. The meeting covered various aspects of defence cooperation, with a focus on the annual plan of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

The importance of the Azerbaijan-Turkey-Georgia trilateral cooperation format was highlighted, and Minister Chikovani mentioned that Georgia would host the tripartite defence ministerial meeting this year.
