Georgia to face Spain in Euro 2024 qualification match

The Georgian national football team will play a match in the fourth round of the Euro 2024 qualification stage against the national team of Spain on September 8 at 8 PM local time.

The match will be broadcast live on the GPB First Channel.

In the lead-up to the match, the Georgian national team held a training session at Dinamo Arena, while the Spanish team faced logistical issues with their cargo, including players’ equipment, not arriving in Georgia on time. This situation forced the Spanish head coach to postpone training until the morning of match day.

Within the qualifying group for the 2024 European Championship, Spain has won three points in two matches, while the Georgian national team has secured four points after three games and currently holds the second position in the group.
