Georgia scraps mandatory facemask wearing rule in public transport

Wearing facemasks in public transport will no longer be compulsory from June 20.

Decreased caseload and stabilized epidemiological situation in Georgia greenlit the government to scrap the covid regulatory measures.

Tamar Gabunia, Deputy Minister of Health, explained that the facemask rule stands mandatory in medical institutions.
