Georgia reported 872 coronavirus cases, 913 recoveries, and 18 deaths on Friday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 414 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 107 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 84 cases.
A total of 18 331 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 15 623 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 708 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4, 76%, while 10, 19% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 640 550, among them 1 594 924 people recovered and 16 630 died.
As of March 18, 2 839 891 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1 395 in a day.
