Georgia reported 87 coronavirus cases, 259 recoveries, and 2 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 36 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 14 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 10 cases.
A total of 7 360 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 6 080 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 1 280 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1, 18%, while 1, 21% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 654 163, among them 1 635 550 people recovered and 16 797 died.
As of April 23, 2 877 023 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 63 in a day.
