Georgia reported 849 coronavirus cases, 1 855 recoveries, and 13 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 383 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 136 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 70 cases.
A total of 20 286 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 17 904 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 382 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4, 19%, while 9, 04% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 641 399, among them 1 596 779 people recovered and 16 643 died.
As of March 19, 2 841 572 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1 448 in a day.
