Georgia reported 698 coronavirus cases, 1 036 recoveries, and 10 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 254 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 102 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 63 cases.
A total of 22 903 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 20 175 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 728 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 3, 05%, while 3, 92% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 647 243, among them 1 622 432 people recovered and 16 730 died.
As of March 29, 2 855 078 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1 672 in a day.
