Georgia reported 658 coronavirus cases, 3 478 recoveries, and 6 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 290 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 88 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 53 cases.
A total of 22 836 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 20 527 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 309 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2, 88%, while 4, 7% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 645 959, among them 1 615 166 people recovered and 16 704 died.
As of March 26, 2 851 946 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1 648 in a day.
