Georgia reported 62 coronavirus cases, 104 recoveries, and no deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 27 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 13 cases, and the Kakheti region with 5 cases.
A total of 4 576 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 3 245 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 1 331 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1, 35%, while 1, 05% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 654 376, among them 1 636 108 people recovered and 16 800 died.
As of April 26, 2 877 175 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 16 in a day.
