Georgia reported 6 351 coronavirus cases, 3 043 recoveries, and 27 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 3 742 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Adjara region with 903 cases, and the Imereti region with 510 cases.
A total of 38 306 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 18 896 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 19 410 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 16, 58 %, while 10, 9 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 021 943, among them 946 255 people recovered and 14 582 died.
There are 46 people quarantined, 4 443 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 746 asymptomatic and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of January 20, 2 635 602 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 2 656 in a day.
