Georgia reported 590 coronavirus cases, 3 247 recoveries, and 10 deaths on Friday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 255 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 81 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 46 cases.
A total of 20 918 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 18 675 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 243 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2, 82%, while 5, 14% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 645 301, among them 1 611 688 people recovered and 16 698 died.
As of March 25, 2 850 298 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1 687 in a day.
