Georgia reported 578 coronavirus cases, 389 recoveries, and 3 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 219 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 80 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 54 cases.
A total of 24 540 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 22 012 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 528 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2, 36%, while 2, 61% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 650 008, among them 1 629 032 people recovered and 16 761 died.
As of April 5, 2 862 482 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 211 in a day.
