Georgia reported 407 coronavirus cases, 1 303 recoveries, and 3 deaths on Friday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 194 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 49 cases, and the Guria region with 32 cases.
A total of 22 788 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 20 485 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 303 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1. 79%, while 3, 2% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 648 653, among them 1 626 296 people recovered and 16 748 died.
As of April 1, 2 861 255 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1 625 in a day.
