Georgia reported 392 coronavirus cases, 131 recoveries, and 2 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 177 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 43 cases, and the Kakheti region with 36 cases.
A total of 23 138 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 20 804 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 334 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1, 69%, while 1, 82% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 651 969, among them 1 631 846 people recovered and 16 779 died.
As of April 12, 2 867 451 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1 304 in a day.
