Georgia reported 342 coronavirus cases, 161 recoveries, and 1 death on Tuesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 160 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 38 cases, and the Guria region with 27 cases.
A total of 22 329 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 20 058 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 271 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1, 53%, while 1, 36% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 653 460, among them 1 634 474 people recovered and 16 794 died.
As of April 19, 2 873 980 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 992 in a day.
