Georgia reported 3 950 coronavirus cases, 2 014 recoveries, and 40 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 657 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 686 cases, and the Shida Kartli region with 343 cases.
A total of 54 482 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 32 510 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 21 972 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 7, 25 %, while 8, 66% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 861 883 among them 801 864 people recovered and 12 298 died.
There are 35 people quarantined, 6 528 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 155 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of December 4, 1 224 629 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 11 889 in a day.
