Georgia reported 3 033 coronavirus cases, 8 118 recoveries, and 32 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 294 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 451 cases, and the Kakheti region with 275 cases.
A total of 19 680 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 16 416 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 3 264 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 15, 41%, while 21, 6% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 623 672, among them 1 547 531 people recovered and 16 338 died.
As of March 4, 2 825 035 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1 034 in a day.
