Georgia reported 23 134 coronavirus cases, 17 594 recoveries, and 33 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 10 667 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 3 566 cases, and the Adjara region with 2 207 cases.
A total of 76 205 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 48 711 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 27 494 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 30, 36%, while 26, 16 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 295 505, among them 1 071 560 people recovered and 15 174 died.
There are 51 people quarantined, 5 840 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 954 asymptomatic and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of February 5, 2 747 141 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 4 224 in a day.
