Georgia reported 229 coronavirus cases, 2 993 recoveries, and 12 deaths on Monday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 121 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 25 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 20 cases.
A total of 5 460 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 3 749 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 1 711 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4, 19%, while 4, 39% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 646 545, among them 1 621 396 people recovered and 16 720 died.
As of March 28, 2 853 264 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 201 in a day.
