Georgia reported 222 coronavirus cases, 346 recoveries, and 1 death on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 119 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 27 cases, and the Shida Kartli region with 15 cases.
A total of 22 703 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 20 791 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 1 912 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 0, 98%, while 1, 5% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 652 929, among them 1 633 684 people recovered and 16 789 died.
As of April 16, 2 872 301 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1 004 in a day.
