Georgia reported 22 263 coronavirus cases, 15 575 recoveries, and 39 deaths on Friday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 10 129 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 3 357 cases, and the Adjara region with 2 173 cases.
A total of 73 821 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 46 355 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 27 466 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 30, 16%, while 25, 24 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 272 371, among them 1 053 966 people recovered and 15 141 died.
There are 42 people quarantined, 5 808 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 958 asymptomatic and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of February 4, 2 742 134 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 4 959 in a day.
