Georgia reported 148 coronavirus cases, 280 recoveries, and 2 deaths on Friday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 72 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 27 cases, and the Kakheti region with 11 cases.
A total of 24 593 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 22 635 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 1 958 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 0, 6%, while 0, 94% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 654 945, among them 1 636 800 people recovered and 16 807 died.
As of April 29, 2 880 821 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1 124 in a day.
