Georgia reported 1 970 coronavirus cases, 7 294 recoveries, and 29 deaths on March 10, the official figures show.
12 645 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 10 240 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 405 were PCR tests.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 853 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 315 cases, and the Kakheti region with 169 cases.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 15,58%, while 17,68% in the past week.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 631 900 among them, 1 578 178 people recovered and 16 485 died.
As of today, 2 829 114 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 976 in a day.
