Georgia reported 1 243 coronavirus cases, 3 064 recoveries, and 25 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 532 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 201 cases, and the Kakheti region with 108 cases.
A total of 13 522 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 10 877 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 645 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 9, 19%, while 16, 14% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 634 686, among them 1 584 440 people recovered and 16 530 died.
As of March 12, 2 832 291 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1 301 in a day.
