Georgia receives five million foreign tourists in 11 months

According to the National Tourism Administration, 471 165 international tourists visited Georgia in November 2022, a rise of 160.4% year-on-year. Compared to 2019, international visitation increased by 70%.

Approximately 5 million overseas tourists visited Georgia in the previous 11 months, representing a 185.5% rise year-on-year.

The number of foreign visitors is determined using the World Tourism Organization’s (WTO) methodology and includes completed trips.
