Georgia ranks 49th in the 2022 WJP Rule of Law Index, American organization World Justice Project published the report.
In terms of overall scores, Georgia tops the Eastern European and Central Asian group. Georgia’s ranking remained unaltered compared to the 2021 assessment. Georgia ranked 42nd in 2020.
The WJP Rule of Law Index evaluates 140 countries and jurisdictions globally per eight indicators, including constraints on government powers, absence of corruption, open government, fundamental rights, order and security, regulatory enforcement, and civil and criminal justice.
