Georgia Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili met with the Croatian counterpart Gordan Jandrokovic.
The meeting focused on the need to strengthen parliamentary ties between the two nations through friendship groups and sectoral committees, as reported by Parliament’s press service.
While Shalva Papuashvili reviewed Georgia’s progress in implementing EU recommendations, Gordan Yandrokovich declared his readiness to assist the country on its EU membership path.
The parties also discussed the challenges on the European continent, including Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
The meeting occurred during the inaugural parliamentary summit of the Crimean International Platform, which is ongoing in Zagreb, Croatia’s capital.
