Georgia first displayed at U.S. Private Label Trade Show
Georgia was represented for the first time at the U.S. Private Label Trade Show on November 12-14 in Chicago.
Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Tengiz Nasaridze visited the exhibition and met representatives of Georgian companies.
He said that the participation of Georgian entrepreneurs in one of the largest fairs in the U.S. was significant, giving them a splendid opportunity to introduce their own agricultural products to international consumers.
“Our goal is to maximize the awareness of Georgian quality agricultural products in the world market so that entrepreneurs benefiting from state support in all components could position themselves in diversified markets,” Tengiz Nasaridze said.
Georgian companies displayed nuts, juices, spices, cheese, tee and other products with the support of the Ministry and USAID Agriculture Program.
More than 1500 companies hailing from 55 different countries took part in the U.S. Private Label Trade exhibition.
