Georgia tangerine export amounts $17.3 million for five months
Georgia exported 35.4 thousand tons of tangerines worth $17.3 million between August 1, 2020, and January 17, 2021, the Georgian Ministry of Agriculture reported on Monday.
The volume of exports increased by 22% (6.3 thousand tons), while the value of exports grew by $2.3 million (16%) compared to the same period of 2019-2020, the Ministry stated.
Georgia mainly exported tangerines to Russia (20.5 thousand tons), Armenia (7.6 thousand tons), and Ukraine (5.3 thousand tons).
