Georgia and Azerbaijan inked a defence cooperation deal, the Georgian Ministry of Defense reported.
Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze met with his Azerbaijani counterpart during his visit to Azerbaijan. During the meeting, two Ministers signed an agreement to increase defence cooperation and addressed the region’s security issues.
Georgian Minister was also received by Azerbaijan’s President, Ilham Aliyev.
“Development of friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries in different fields, including the military one, was underlined at the meeting,” Azerbaijani President’s Administration reported.
